Finding Products
Once you know what your niche is going to be
you can start looking for products. There are
several avenues for finding products to sell
in your business.
A good place to start is to conduct an Internet
search for your niche. Simply type in your niche
area and add the word ‘affiliate’ to your search.
For example, if you are in the dog supply niche,
type in the words ‘dog supply affiliate’ as the
search criteria. This should return companies that
offer affiliate commissions for marketing and
selling their products.
A favorite place to look for digital products is
at clickbank.com. Once at their site, you can
search the marketplace by category to find
products available in your niche.
Another favorite place to look for products
is Commission Junction at cj.com.
If you are interested in obtaining products that
you can modify or use for your own purpose then
PLR or Private Label Rights products may be what
you are looking for. Conduct an Internet search of
‘PLR products’ or ‘Private Label Rights products’
to find companies that offer these type of products.
There are some available for free and this may be a
good starting place if you’re not familiar with PLR
products and what is available.
One thing to keep in mind when looking for products
is the number of products available in your particular
niche. If you’re having difficulty finding products,
it may be an indicator that the market for that area
is not large enough to attract many customers. If
that’s the case, consider picking another niche for
your business.
Doing research on the Internet should provide some
great ideas and get you off to a good start with
finding products for your business.
